This past February 2025, 开云体育官网 Academy had a very special聽visit from Interim Oakland Mayor聽Kevin Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins, a truly connected and inspiring leader, shared words of encouragement, appreciation, and acknowledgement for the important and urgent work our teachers and staff do every day. He even issued a special Mayoral Proclamation honoring 开云体育官网 Academy for being 鈥�a leader in educational excellence, dedicated to student-centered learning and equity in Oakland鈥� and for 鈥�fostering a pro-Black, anti-racist environment where all students, particularly first generation college bound students, can thrive.鈥� We are incredibly proud to celebrate this honor and recognition from our beloved city鈥檚 Interim Mayor.
